It is a term that is sometimes confusing, but it has a very concrete and practical role in any construction project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a technical architect?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The technical architect<\/strong> is the qualified professional whose main mission is to ensure that what has been designed on paper materializes correctly on site. His or her training focuses on the technical execution of the project<\/strong>: how it is built, with what materials, whether the regulations are met, and that the process is safe and efficient. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historically in Spain he was known as aparejador<\/strong>, and although today the academic training is officially called technical architecture<\/strong>, both terms are equivalent and legally recognized to practice this profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we imagine a house or a building site, there is a kind of “symbiosis” between the conceptual and the practical. The technical architect acts on site, connecting these two worlds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, he collaborates with the project architect to interpret the plans and specifications, ensuring that every detail can be executed efficiently. From that moment on, his main focus is the material execution of the work: supervising that the works are carried out according to the project, that the materials comply with standards, and that the construction process complies with the current regulations in Spain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also participates in economic and organizational aspects: drafting budgets, managing deadlines, controlling costs and even coordinating work teams on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of a technical architect is especially valuable when we are looking for the project not only to be built, but also to be done well, with constructive quality, without surprises or avoidable deviations in time and budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
