Leganés: the 1999 plan under review
Leganés applies the 1999 General Plan, published in the regional gazette in September 2000. In January 2023 the council approved commissioning a new plan within three years, so changes may arrive during your project.
Like Getafe, Leganés is among the municipalities affected by Getafe Air Base’s height restrictions. If your plot is inside them, the house and the assembly crane need a favourable decision from the Ministry of Defence.
A new house requires a major works licence. Simple renovations can go through a responsible declaration, and we tell you which applies in each case.
